Trans Global Airways is having one messed-up night at Lincoln International Airport.
Let's take a look at their first mishap of the evening: TGA Flight 45, inbound from who-knows-where.

Piloting TGA 45 in the left seat (audience's right) is Captain Benson. His shift is almost over, and after the white-knuckle ride down Runway 2-9, Benson is ready to scoot back to the SA parking lot and get home to dinner in North Meadow Wood.
Unfortunately, Benson's eagerness causes him to anticipate Taxiway Echo a bit early, and he turns the 707 into a jet-powered roto-tiller.

Benson screws up. So, he does what any other pilot-in-command would do: he makes the co-pilot call in the problem to Lincoln Tower, of course.

Yeah, Cappy's parked us a little shy of the jetway - - can you send a bus over? Mm'kay, thanks.
Thus begins Subplot #1 of the evening: There's a stuck plane on Runway 2-9...
